In order to move forward with our goals and aspirations it is important to set forth guidelines by which all members should abide.
All members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards each other, towards other members, other supporter groups, and/or the club. Only by adhering to this basic principle can we expect our group to flourish and grow. It is essential to create an environment where everyone is comfortable with other members and in their surroundings. This code of conduct should be adhered to during our events, gatherings, and/or meetings.
Members cannot be offensive nor make any disparaging or slandering remarks towards their peers. They also cannot make others feel uncomfortable, threaten, and/or intimidate them. It is our goal to mirror the workplace code of conduct as set forth under the basic employment standards established into law by our local, state, and federal governments. It is also our goal to adhere to the expected code of conduct requirements deemed necessary by Liverpool FC in order to become an Official Liverpool Supporters Club.
Proper conduct is expected and demanded of every member of this organization. Proper conduct by our members includes, but is not limited to, not making lewd and/or explicit references, using vulgar language, refraining from any type of sexual harassment, making or participating in any racially insensitive references and/or acts. Behavior of this kind will not be tolerated. They too are not allowed during or around Pasadena Reds sponsored events.
With regards to social media, hereby defined but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. It is important to limit our opinions and exchanges only to matters involving our group, our members, our events, and Liverpool FC. These platforms are not meant to be used by anyone to further their views on matters involving race, religion, color, sex, or political views. This standard shall apply as well to any visible content on the Pasadena Reds website.
Furthermore, the events are hereby defined as any immediate area around our gatherings, events, and/or meetings. In the case of group sponsored events outside of Lucky Baldwin's, the area is hereby defined as the space immediately occupied by the group.
Any member not adhering to these rules or committing any improper acts, as defined above, will be subjected to immediate suspension or removal from the group.
In the event of witnessing any unacceptable conduct the following protocol is hereby set forth as group policy.
Disclosing an unacceptable act is the responsibility of everyone in the group. Not reporting it can be deemed as an attempt to cover up the act or to protect the person committing the act. Failure to report such an act can lead to disciplinary action which may include suspension or removal from the group for both the person committing the act as well as the person who witnessed it.
It is our intent to eliminate or prevent any behavior that does not follow these standards. In the event any act is deemed criminal in nature, it is our basic duty and intent to fully cooperate with any prosecuting agency to ensure that any person conducting such an act is hereby prosecuted and penalized under the laws set forth by our local, state, and federal governments.
All work done by the committee for the advancement of the group is hereby done on a voluntary basis. There is no compensation expected or implied. Situations may arise in the future in which
individuals or third parties may require compensation for certain responsibilities beyond the scope of our general capacities, knowledge, and understanding. In the event of such a need, the
committee shall act in the manner which most benefits the group as a whole. Lastly, no member of the group shall use the Pasadena Reds logo for their personal profit or gain. Any
authorized use of the logo shall be permitted only upon approval by the committee.
